Where was The Order filmed? The 2024 movie filming locations

Set primarily in the Pacific Northwest, The Order was filmed entirely on location in Alberta, Canada.

The film tells the true story of a white supremacist group that was active in the 1980s and committed a series of violent crimes, including bank robberies and armored car hijackings.

Jude Law as Terry Husk

Jude Law plays FBI agent Terry Husk, while Nicholas Hoult takes on the role of Bob Mathews, the leader of a domestic terrorist group.

On his way to Idaho, FBI agent Terry Husk drives through this mountainous landscape, filmed on the scenic Kananaskis Trail, also known as Highway 40.

At the bottom of the picture is Barrier Lake Dam, with Mount Baldy on the left.

Cactus Jack Saloon

Excalibur Building Didsbury
The Washington Mutual banc in Spokane was filmed in a 1960s commercial property called the Excalibur Building in Didsbury.

Didsbury is a small town located about 80 km north of Calgary and 40 km south of Red Deer, right along Highway 2

Kootenai County Sheriff
The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office in Idaho was filmed in a vacant office next to the Didsbury Municipal Library.

Len's Den and Lounge
Len's Den and Lounge is the bar and restaurant of the Ambassador Motor Inn at 802 16 Avenue NE in Calgary.

The Amber's Restaurant sign is still there, although it was closed in 2020.

11 Bridges of Wayne
This establishing shot shows the Third Bridge to Wayne, one of the 11 Bridges of Wayne.

This is a scenic route where you have to cross 11 bridges over Rosebud Creek to get to the small community of Wayne in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies.

Where was The Order 2024 movie filmed
Bonnie Sue's house is located in Wayne, a former coal mining town from the early 1900s that saw its population decline from nearly 2,500 to just 30–40 people today.

Dorothy Alberta ghost town
Butler's compound in Hayden Lake, Idaho, was filmed in Dorothy, Alberta, situated about 25 km east of Drumheller in the Badlands region.

Dorothy is often referred to as a ghost town, although it's not completely abandoned and still has several picturesque buildings, including a couple of churches and the town hall.

Dorothy grain elevator
The scene pictured was filmed just outside Dorothy, with the old grain elevator as a backdrop.

This location has been featured in several major productions, including Ghostbusters Afterlife and the Tin Star series.

Palace Theatre Calgary
The theater scene was filmed at the Palace Theatre in Calgary's downtown.

Built in 1921, this iconic landmark started its life as a silent movie theater, featuring a stunning interior adorned with elaborate details.

Sears store in Calgary
The bank robbery was filmed at the old Sears store in Calgary, which closed its doors in 2017.

The car chase scene was filmed in Calgary's downtown, along 6 Avenue SE and 1 Street SE.

Barrier Lake Dam
While elk hunting, Husk meets Mathews at the Barrier Lake Dam in Kananaskis Country.

This location is close to one of the first establishing shots, as these sequences were probably filmed simultaneously.

The armored truck robbery in Ukiah, California, was filmed along the Kananaskis Trail, a popular route that connects several tourist spots in the region.

Dorothy Ferry Bridge
