Featuring a charming house that effectively becomes another character in the show, No Good Deed was filmed entirely in Los Angeles.

The Netflix dark comedy is the new project from Liz Feldman, known for her work on the hit series Dead to Me.

The story follows Lydia (Lisa Kudrow) and Paul (Ray Romano), a couple listing their 1920s Spanish-style villa for sale in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles.

With a stellar cast including Linda Cardellini, Luke Wilson, Denis Leary, and Teyonah Parris, the couple will struggle to hide the house's dark secrets as potential buyers become increasingly interested in their home.

The Los Feliz house at 500 Derby Drive is a dream-like four-bedroom home in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The area is known for its elegant, early 20th-century architecture, tree-lined streets, and stately homes.

According to real estate sites, this 3,610-square-foot Spanish Colonial-style home, built in 1925, has an estimated market value of more than three million dollars.

Where was No Good Deed filmed
However, creator and showrunner Liz Feldman revealed that all the villa's interiors were sets built on a soundstage.

Netflix posted a fake listing for the Morgan House on Realtor, where the property is described as a three-bedroom home with a cozy living room with an original wood-burning fireplace.

It says that the sellers, Paul and Lydia Morgan, 'are happy to welcome you' to the home where they 'raised their kids and filled it with memories and more'.


The No Good Deed locations

JD Campbell house
JD Campbell's modern house is not located across the street from the Morgan house, but more than a mile to the south, also in Hancock Park.

We don't know about the Swedish refrigerator, but according to Zillow, this seven-bedroom, eleven-bathroom estate with a private tennis court has a market value of more than $14 million.

Hancock Park luxury home
Expanding 13,240 square feet, the interior of JD's home was also filmed on location.

Built in 2021 with every modern luxury imaginable, the home also includes a custom Scavolini kitchen, movie theater, gym, wine cellar, separate guesthouse, and the pool with Jacuzzi where Margo and Paul splash around.

The staircase leads to an elegant master suite with two large walk-in closets, a luxurious black marble shower with built-in fireplace, and a spacious private balcony.


The Dresden Restaurant
The Dresden Restaurant & Lounge featured in the second episode, "Private Showing", is actually located in Los Feliz.

Opened in 1954, this local landmark, known for its retro ambiance and classic Hollywood vibe, gained fame as the filming location for iconic movies like Swingers and Anchorman, and TV shows such as Mad Men.

Art Deco apartment Hancock Park
The Sampson's apartment is another outstanding home featured in No Good Deed.

Built in 1935 in the Art Deco style, this multi-family property between Hancock Park and Larchmont Village includes high ceilings, rounded walls, and original vintage tile bathrooms.

Larchmont Village house
Leslie and Sarah's house is also located in Larchmont Village.

Built in 1923, this beautifully renovated two-bedroom, 1,788-square-foot bungalow has an estimated market value of nearly two million dollars.

In the fifth episode, "Off the Market", Lydia and Paul go for a picnic at Elysian Park.

Overlooking Dodger Stadium, this park, established in 1886, is the oldest public park in Los Angeles.

Emerson College Los Angeles Center
Sarah's clinic was filmed at the Emerson College Los Angeles Center in Hollywood.

Designed in 2014 in a modern, high-tech style, this horrendous building serves as a hub for Emerson College's communication, arts, and public policy programs.

Edendale Restaurant and Bar
The sixth episode, "Full Disclosure", features the Edendale Restaurant and Bar in Silver Lake.

Occupying a historic 1924 building that originally served as Los Angeles Fire Station 56, it became a restaurant in 2002.
