I grew up at a cottage on Bala Park Island, just around the corner from a scene in the movie. Emily and friends are putting along in the boat under a train trestle we called the Talla-Hatchy, which spans Wallis Cut at the very north end of Bala Park Island. It is a very picturesque spot in that area.
