Set at the elite Manchester College in Washington, D.C., Cruel Intentions was filmed entirely in and around Toronto, Ontario.
Inspired by the 1999 film of the same name, a modern retelling of the 1782 French novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses, the series features magnificent locations shot at several colleges and homes throughout the city.

The Cruel Intentions college
The fictional Manchester College was filmed at the Victoria University campus, a federated college of the University of Toronto.
The campus integrates heritage and modern design, including the John M. Kelly Library and the 1892 central building, known as the "Old Vic," both of which are featured in the series.

The Delta Phi Pi sorority house is a mega-mansion called High Point Manor in the Bridle Path Toronto's neighborhood.
With an estimated price tag of over $18 million (over $12 million USD), the mansion has an indoor pool, a wine cellar, and a small movie theater.

Only a few of the elegant interior rooms and the rear of the house, with its circular garden and fountain, are shown in the series.
The blue foyer with the staircase that has a central role in the show was filmed elsewhere.
Three months earlier, the Spring Formal was held at the Fairmont Royal York, across the street from the colonnaded facade of Toronto's Union Station.
Opened in 1929, a double room at this iconic Art Deco hotel costs about $200.

The gala was filmed in the Imperial Room of the Fairmont Royal York, which boasts chandeliers and a wooden dance floor.
The 5,000-square-foot venue was formerly a sophisticated supper club.
The bridge that appears several times in the series is the Burlington Bay James N. Allan Skyway over the Burlington Canal, connecting Hamilton to the Greater Toronto Area.
Originally opened in 1958 and later twinned in 1985, this bridge allows for both vehicular traffic and ships to pass underneath.

The Alpha Gamma Zeta house is a Tudor Revival home with a tennis court, also located in the Bridle Path area of North York.
Originally developed in the early 20th century, the Bridle Path is one of Toronto's most prestigious neighborhoods, often referred to as "Millionaires' Row."
Known for its grand estate homes and lush surroundings, the area offers massive properties with eclectic architectural styles, including Georgian, Colonial, and Modernist designs.

The welcoming ceremony for Vice President Grover in the second episode, "Beta," was filmed in front of De La Salle College "Oaklands" in Toronto.
Established at this site in 1931, this historic educational institution is a well-known private Catholic school.

Caroline and Lucien's family home is a modern four-bedroom house behind St. George’s Golf and Country Club in the Edenbridge – Humber Valley area.
Priced at over $4.5 million, the property includes a three-car garage housing the Jaguar XK.

The library scene was filmed at the Great Hall of the Wycliffe College in Toronto.
Constructed along with the college in 1891, this Gothic Revival building served as the Red Center in The Handmaid's Tale series.

In the third episode, "Gamma", Annie Grover (Savannah Lee Smith) and Lucien step out of the Secret Service's line of sight and head toward the pool.
The house exterior is Graydon Hall Manor, a 1936 Georgian-style mansion known for its elegantly landscaped gardens and fountains.
Today, the property is used as a luxurious venue for weddings and all kinds of events.

However, the pool is not located in Graydon Hall Manor, but in High Point Manor, the Delta Phi Pi sorority house.
In the fourth episode, "Delta", CeCe (Sara Silva) and her professor, Chadwick (Sean Patrick Thomas) attend a book presentation.
The bookstore is the BMV Books at 471 Bloor Street in Harbord Village.

In the fifth episode, "Epsilon", Caroline and Annie go shopping at The Webster Toronto on Scollard Street, Yorkville.
The store features a dream wardrobe: the Whisper Room is a 360-degree circular room with three palm trees that climb into a domed ceiling.

The gorgeous restaurant with this splendid ceiling was filmed in the The Courtyard room at the Windsor Arms Hotel in the Yorkville district.
A Toronto landmark since 1927, the hotel is renowned for its elegance and modern luxury, and has been the preferred accommodation for many celebrities visiting the city.

The scene pictured was filmed at the Massey College, which is part of the University of Toronto.
Built between 1961 and 1963 in a post-modern architectural style, the exterior also appears briefly in the fourth episode as Tourvel Hall.
The showrunners used an establishing shot of two two-story houses in Vancouver as the exterior of Scott's family home.
