The Hallmark Christmas movie Tis the Season to Be Irish was filmed in some beautiful locations on Ireland's East Coast.
The movie revolves around real estate agent Rose (played by Fiona Gubelmann) who arrives in the fictional town of Dunclare to renovate and sell a gorgeous seaside cottage.

The movie opens with an establishing shot of Rose's neighborhood, filmed in the Hollywood Dell, a wealthy residential area set in the hills above Los Angeles.

More establishing shots: The introduction to the land of river dancing and leprechauns features some stunning footage of the famous Cliffs of Moher, one of the country's most iconic natural landmarks.
Stretching along the western coast of County Clare, facing the Atlantic Ocean, the cliffs rise to heights of over 700 feet (214 meters) at their highest point.

The scenic ruins of Danesfort House turret folly in the County Kilkenny countryside and Castle Roche (pictured) in County Louth are also featured in this introduction.

Welcome to Dunclare, Ireland
The village of Redcross in County Wicklow was transformed into Dunclare.
Sean, Dunclare's unofficial tourist greeter, bumps into Rose on the main street of this small town of about 250 souls, home to several traditional pubs and a historic church.

The Dunclare Inn exterior where Rose is staying is actually the Mickey Finn's Pub located on Redcross' Main Street.

The Celtic Crust bakery was set at the Latin Quarter artistic handicrafts store in Redcross.
Featuring a charming storefront, this spot offers artisan foods and handmade crafts in a warm, rustic setting.

The Emerald Amber pub is the Rua's pub (or O'domnaill Rua's), a family-run traditional Irish pub also located on Redcross's Main Street.
Test your dancing skills in this welcoming pub, where traditional Irish music is regularly played.

The house is the Nanny Cottage in Laytown, County Meath, a much photographed and beloved local landmark.
The house is an old coastguard station built to control the smuggling trade that plagued the Irish Sea during the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
The Nanny Water Cottage is a protected structure, situated on a beautiful beach at the mouth of the River Nanny.

Several scenes are filmed along the Glen Beach Cliff Walk in Wicklow Town, where you can visit the dramatic remains of Black Castle.
Built in the 12th century by Norman settlers, local Irish clans eventually destroyed this fortress during the late 16th and early 17th centuries.

Below the castle is Travelahawk Beach, where legend has it that St. Patrick's boat landed and was met by angry locals who pelted him with stones.
This quiet pebble beach has also been featured in Vikings and the Netflix comedy series Bodkin.
