Where was The Penguin filmed? Guide to all the locations

Posted by

The spin-off of The Batman 2022 movie, The Penguin was filmed entirely in and around New York.

Although both productions are set in Gotham City, the new series shifts the filming locations from London to the Big Apple.

Cristin Milioti and Colin Farrell

Colin Farrell's portrayal of Oswald "Oz" Cobb, The Penguin, required extensive makeup and prosthetics to transform him into the character.

Cristin Milioti plays Sofia Falcone, aka The Hangman, and Rhenzy Feliz is Victor "Vic" Aguilar, a teenager who becomes Oz's right-hand man.

Here is our spoiler-free guide to all the filming locations of The Penguin. You'll find them in order of appearance, as well as The Batman movie locations following this link.

The Penguin locations

The entrance to the Iceberg Lounge Club with the large metal arches was filmed under Riverside Drive in West Harlem.

This is the same location where the exterior of the Clown Agency was shot in Joker (2019).

In The Batman, the interior of the club was filmed at the Printworks London, so there is a brief shot when Oz is in the club that looks like this nightclub.

The last scene, next to Buddy's Groceries, is on Hewes St in Brooklyn.

The scene when they're driving to the meeting isn't the Williamsburg Bridge. It's the George Washington Bridge, going to Jersey. When they get off the bridge, the exit sign that says "Bristol Township" (made up name) is really the entrance to the Palisade Parkway.
