The Lady in the Lake locations
The lake scenes were filmed at Loch Raven Reservoir, a water supply for the Baltimore metropolitan area and a popular recreation spot.
The Thanksgiving parade in the first episode, "Did You Know Seahorses Are Fish?", was filmed on East Redwood Street in downtown Baltimore.
The tropical fish shop was set up in a vacant store on the same street.

The interior of the department store was filmed at the Armour Performance Center, a fitness complex housed in what was America's largest bank hall in the 1930s.

The Schwartz home is a historic house called Rainbow Hill on Park Heights Avenue in Owings Mills.
Originally built in 1917, this Georgian-style mansion was used for a time as a nursing home and is currently being converted into rental apartments.

As The Baltimore Sun reported, set designers transformed storefronts in the 200 block of Park Avenue to resemble a 1960s version of Pennsylvania Avenue.
With all the set dressing and CGI, the location is almost unrecognizable.
During filming, a group of locals threatened the showrunners, demanding $50,000 or they would be shot. Production resumed with increased security.

The pawn shop Weinstein's Jeweler was filmed at the Lakein's Jewelers of Hamilton.
