The Good Burger restaurant location
The Good Burger restaurant was filmed in an old Friendly's chain restaurant at 1883 Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence.
As you can see in the picture, the facade was partially created with some movie magic CGI.

As the local press reported, the entire process of transformation and filming took place from May to June 2023.
There are plans to demolish the building at some point to build a car wash, so the producers were able to use the site as a movie set without many restrictions.
After his latest failure in his career as an inventor, Dexter decides to take a Greyhound bus to visit his old colleague Ed.
During the trip, stock footage of various random locations appears, including the Pulaski Skyway in New Jersey, the Venice Beach Boardwalk in Los Ángeles, and the main street of Crescenta-Montrose.
The bus stop where Ed comes to pick up Dexter in the crazy Burger Mobile is located on Wayland Avenue in Providence.
The original Burger Mobile was a 1975 AMC Pacer with a bizarre hamburger on its hood.
In 2019, the rusted, dilapidated remains of the car were for sale in Daytona Beach, Florida for $10,000.

I'm always blown away by how they're able to transform an ordinarily dilapidated building into something that looks so realistic and believable. This was an excellent read. Thanks so much for doing the research.
I've watched Good Burger 2 a couple of times since its release and was curious about its filming locations. You answered most of the questions I had in my mind.
Now, I'm curious about which house was used for Ed's home.

That’s not how the Good Burger 2 looked in real life, believe it or not. It looked different in person! I lived near it.
