The real A Not So Royal Christmas palace location
The Sorhagen Royal Palace was filmed at the Dundurn Castle in Hamilton, Ontario.
This magnificent neoclassical mansion was once the residence of Sir Allan Napier MacNab, a prominent figure in Canadian history.

Built between 1832 and 1835, this opulent house boasts a captivating blend of Georgian and classical architectural styles.
Dundurn Castle's sprawling estate spans picturesque grounds adorned with meticulously landscaped gardens.

The interior of the Nordin Palace was also filmed in Dundurn.
Inside the castle, each room tells its own unique story. Visitors can marvel at intricate details such as ornate plasterwork, elaborate wallpaper and period furnishings that transport them back to the elegance and grandeur of the Victorian era.
The town square and the Christmas market were also filmed at the Dundurn Castle.
What looks like a church belfry on the right is actually the dovecote (or pigeonnier) in the Coach House area of the castle.

Yuletide Ball was filmed in the ballroom of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.
Meticulously restored to its 1929 decor, the ballroom has an unmistakable Italian influence in its design.
Offering nearly 5,000 square feet of captivating visual splendor, this space is a popular wedding venue and filming location.
