Inis Dubh
Located on a private farm land, this set was built in 2010 for a production about Vikings that never was filmed.

Surrounded by a jaw-dropping backdrop, the village was semi-abandoned, open for visitors until Netflix decided to use it in Blood Origins.

Daedwode Kingdom of Pryshia
The scene deep in the valley of the Lost Souls, where Scian, the last member of a sword-elves nomadic tribe appears for the first time, was also filmed near the stunning Vestrahorn mountain range.

Of Ballads, Brawlers, and Bloodied Blades
There are several lava fields covered with moss in the area near de Eyjafjallajökull volcano, like the one that appears briefly in the first episode, "Of Ballads, Brawlers, and Bloodied Blades".

One of the largest and most beautiful landscapes covered by a thick layer of moss is Eldhraun, also located in the south of the island, within the Skaftafell National Park.
