The WandaVision House and All the Filming Locations: Where was WandaVision filmed?
Posted by Ra Moon
The Marvel series, revolving around Wanda and Vision's just-married household, was at the time the most expensive TV show in history.
With a budget of $25 million each episode, WandaVision was primarily filmed in the studios in Atlanta and Los Angeles, as well as other locations in the state of Georgia.
Each of the nine episodes pays homage to a specific era of television sitcoms. Some scenes were filmed in front of a live audience.
The show is connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, taking place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The 2019 movie almost included one set up of the series as a post-credit scene, but it was finally discarded by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. The series is also a link to the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness movie (2022) and has a spin-off series, Agatha All Along (2024).
Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany return to their superhero roles as Wanda Maximoff (aka Scarlet Witch) and Vision. Kathryn Hahn plays the mysterious Agatha Harkness.
Here is our spoiler-free guide to all the filming locations of WandaVision, in order of appearance.

The Westview, New Jersey, City in WandaVision
Wanda and Vision pretend to be regular husband and wife, even when they have to perform the traditional Sokovian greeting for their guests.
They live in a nice neighborhood located in the town of Westview, New Jersey. The exterior of the house in the 1950s is one of the fake buildings on the famous Blondie St at the Warner Bros. Ranch Facilities in Burbank.
This set has served since the 1930s as a backdrop for outdoor scenes in tons of productions including the original Batman, Superman, and Captain Midnight. However, most of the interiors of the series are filmed at Pinewood Atlanta Studios.
If the first episode named "Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience" is inspired by The Dick Van Dyke show, the second episode called "Don't Touch That Dial" evokes the Bewitched series from the 1960s.
The talent show scene in a square of the city was filmed at Disney’s Golden Oak Ranch near Santa Clarita. This same gazebo can be seen behind the family in the intro to episode 5 "On a Very Special Episode..." - which was also filmed there.

The Westview Public Library exterior is just a facade called the “Subway Entrance”, also located at the “Urban Background District” of the Golden Oak Ranch set.
Some scenes of the Halloween episode (the 6th) were also filmed here, in the Residential Street set.
The road into Westview was filmed at the land across the street from Trilith Studios.
Located south of Atlanta in Fayetteville (Fayette County), this complex is the former Pinewood Atlanta Studios set across nearly 1000 acres of workshops, offices, and backlots.
The only real element is the road and the welcome to town sign; everything else in this image was digitally created.

Episode 4, "We Interrupt This Program", features the NASA-Esque high-tech S.W.O.R.D. headquarters (Sentient Weapon Observation Response Division).
Marvel used some CGI to create this location, which is based on the Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39A.
Located near Titusville on Merritt Island in Florida, the rocket launch site is now used by SpaceX since 2014 (thank you Nighthawk for finding this!).

The interior hall of S.W.O.R.D. is the lobby of the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) in downtown Atlanta.
This huge complex is the third-largest convention center in the United States. The interior of Building C was used as the Dynow Laboratories in the action film starring Frank Grillo Boss Level.

But according to MCU Location Scout, the exterior that appears in the 8 episode is the parking lot of the baseball field at Starr’s Mill High School in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Some scenes of the sixth episode "All-New Halloween Spooktacular!" were filmed in a real neighborhood.
Cast and crew took over the lovely streets of Highpoint Court and Rolling Hill Dr located in the Meadow View area of Williamson, a small village near Griffin (Georgia).

The S.W.O.R.D. temporary retreat set from the seventh episode was built at the Bouckaert Farms in Chattahoochee Hill country (Fairburn, Georgia).
This is the same location where the Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther battle scenes were filmed.
The forest and the place where Monica (played by Teyonah Parris) and Jimmy (Randall Park) try to penetrate the wall of the Hex with an armored vehicle are also located nearby.

The 7th episode "Breaking the Fourth Wall" is inspired by the popular The Office American sitcom.
According to Mculocationscout.com, the intersection where Vision and Darcy (played by Kat Dennings) get stuck is at Old Highway 85 and Luther Bailey Road near the town of Senoia in Georgia. Obviously, there is no traffic light in the real crossroads.

Jovial Jay also reported that the 1693 flashback witch trial in Salem, Massachusetts, was filmed at the Starr's Mill Waterfall near Senoia, GA.
The site was used in the season two finale of The Walking Dead and five other movies.

Where can you buy the cute Stark Industries ToastMate 2000? And Hydra's Strucker watch? Can you help to improve this article about the filming locations of WandaVision?

Where was the post-credit scene of the final episode shot?

The Salem witch scenes were filmed at Starrs Mill, not Elders Mill. The dam in this scene is too long to be Elders Mill. I live 100 yards from Starrs Mill.

With the upcoming improvements to Warner Brother Ranch, will all the History of the Ranch be bulldozed and replaced?
