The lead actors Lauren Swickard and Josh Swickard are married in real life, and Lauren also wrote the script.
The story revolves around Joseph, a corporate executive who tries to persuade Callie, a hard-working farmer, to sell her land to the mighty Van Aston Warehouses company before Christmas. And guess what: they end up falling in love!
According to the Argus-Courier, the movie was shot on Ali Afshar's own family ranch in Petaluma.
However, the local newspaper doesn't give any more details about the real farm location. Ali plays Leo in the film, the driver and secretary of Joseph.

The gorgeous estate -and the cows- are all from this 100% organic and sustainable dairy farm, established over 100 years ago in Northern California.
The Great Peter Pumpkin Patch, located in the same ranch, is a classic pumpkin patch and a popular destination for harvest-time school field trips.

Petaluma has a beautiful, historic downtown area that has been used as the backdrop for multiple films and television shows in several productions including Netflix's hit series 13 Reasons Why.
The Hotel Petaluma doubles as the exterior of the Van Aston Hotel that appears to be in San Francisco's Pacific Heights. Built in 1923, you can book a double room in this lovely hotel for about US$170.

The local watering hole where Callie works is the old Washoe House, located west of Cotati in Stony Point.
Built in 1859, this Gold Rush building is a historic roadhouse that served as a stop on the stagecoach routes in Wine Country.
Although this is difficult to appreciate in the movie, the ceiling of the bar is filled with $1 bills.
