This romantic comedy starring Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey is set in Chicago. According to a map on the film, the comic duo lives in the Logan Square neighborhood and the suburb of Evanston respectively.

Emma Roberts is known for her roles in American Horror Story and Unfabulous, and Luke Bracey was featured in Point Break and Hacksaw Ridge.

The fictional Lakeview Mall is the background for several key scenes in the movie.
The filmmakers took over a large section of the Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth for filming.
This is the same shopping center used in Stranger Things, the Starcourt Mall.
Before the location scouts of the popular Netflix series found it, this wing of the complex was half abandoned, with many storefronts vacant.
Sloane and Jackson's great night out was filmed in the former Opera Atlanta dance club, now called Domaine.
Located at 1150 Crescent Avenue in Midtown Atlanta, this is the kind of gorgeous nightclub that you expect to see in a Hollywood movie.
The venue ranked as one of the top nightclubs in the country. This domed historical building was once an actual opera house.
Throughout decades, it has hosted high-profile DJs and musicians including Prince, Kanye West, or David Guetta, just to name a few.

During Saint Patrick's Day, the cheerful couple is celebrating in the Rà Rá Irish Pub at 1080 Peachtree Street, also located in Midtown Atlanta.
After ten years, this beautiful bar and restaurant is now permanently closed. So why not use the site to film your next movie?

Sloane's place (at least the exterior) is Wilburn House, a condominium building on 11th Street near Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta.

The main cast is completed by Manish Dayal as Faarooq (who also plays a doctor in The Resident series), Andrew Bachelor as Neil, Kristin Chenoweth as Aunt Susan, and Jessica Capshaw as Abby.

The "103rd Street" sign which appears before the Saint Patrick's Day festivities is definitely a Chicago street sign and is most likely located at the intersection of 103rd Street and Western Avenue which is the starting point of the Southside Irish Parade.
