The Babysitter Killer Queen Lake and House Filming Locations

The Babysitter Killer Queen is a horror-comedy splashed by gore, WTF scenes, and plenty of pop-culture references, the sequel to the 2017 Netflix original The Babysitter.

The story picks up two years on from the night when Cole Johnson survived a satanic blood cult.

Judah Lewis leads the returning cast as Cole, Emily Alyn Lind (Doctor Sleep) as Melanie, Jenna Ortega (Wednesday) as Phoebe, Robbie Amell (Upload, The Flash) as Max, Ken Marino (Children's Hospital) as Archie Johnson, and Chris Wylde (Young Sheldon) as Juan, the guy who looks like Joe Exotic.

The Babysitter Killer Queen was filmed in and around Santa Clarita in California.

The secondary school featured in both movies is El Segundo High School, located near Los Angeles International Airport.

This classic 1927 building has hosted several shows and films, including All American (2018), Blue Lagoon: The Awakening (2012), Superbad (2007), and episodes of the popular 90's series Beverly Hills 90210.

In 2021 it also featured as the Moxie movie high school.

Both the Johnson house and Melanie's house are located in the famous Blondie Street in the Warner Bros. Ranch Facilities in Burbank.

The party scene in the lake was recorded in the Lake Piru Recreation Area boat launch, near Santa Clarita.

This location is not easy to recognize: The hilly peaks were digitally added to the background of the scene. They are probably copy-pasted from the Lake Powell and Glen Canyon area.

The spectacular aerial views of the lake are establishing shots that were filmed in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.

Located at the border between Utah and Arizona, this massive national park was also featured in Westworld season two and in Michael Bay's 6 Underground.

Both gas stations are a popular location scouts spot, situated next to each other at Middleton Ranch in Acton, near Santa Clarita.

The sets are known as the Gas Station Mini Mart and the Vintage Gas Station with neon lighting.

The production was filmed in the Sweetwater Movieland Ranch, so we are pretty sure that the final sacrifice scene was shot at the Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park.
