The auditorium scenes, as well as several hallway scenes (brick and marble lined hallways) are 100% Cardinal Spellman HS in the Bronx.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, thanks a lot!
DeleteAnyone know where the prison scene was filmed? I'm curious about a bumper sticker I saw in the control room window at 1h 39m 03s into the film. Part of the sticker was blacked out and I'm curious why. It read "Support Your Local Correction Officers xxxx Endangers Lives" and I wonder what the xxxx words were and why they were obscured.
ReplyDeleteit looks like "privatization" - not sure why it was marked out though.
DeletePrivatization refers to privately built and run for-profit prisons. As a trend, it tends to lead to mass incarceration, overcrowding, and longer sentences for minor offenses, all dangerous conditions for inmates and officers alike.
