The Council of Dads City Location: Where is Council of Dads filmed?

The NBC series Council of Dads was entirely filmed in Savannah (Georgia). The old Hostess City becomes a character too in the show’s 10-episode first season.

The city has become a lovely place to produce new films and series alike. The elegant historical buildings of downtown Savannah were also recently featured in Disney's Lady and the Tramp new live-action remake movie.

In addition, several scenes of the new season 3 of the Ozark series were also filmed in Savannah.

The story revolves around Scott Perry (Tom Everett Scott), head of a large family with four children, who finds out that he has very aggressive cancer.

Perry and his wife Robin (Sarah Wayne Callies) decide to look for friends who can become their children's mentors, to find advice in the father's absence. This is how this peculiar 'Council of Dads' is established.
