So, after watching them, you’ll want to get out of the couch and book yourself a ticket to these 11 destinations. Let’s get started.
1. Into the Wild - It's one of the most inspiring travel stories with some of the most magnificent landscapes of Alaska. Into the Wild is an unbelievable true story of a young student, who one day decides to leave everything he owns, and go hitchhiking in Alaska. If there’s one movie that you can watch from this list, it has to be this one. It is the paramount “leave everything and go travel” film. However, it is paradoxically a cautionary tale and a wanderlust-inducing flick that teaches you to be appreciative of the things in your life yet reckless, at the same time. 2. The Way - It is a beautiful story of a father who travels overseas to get back the dead body of his son, who passed away while touring Spain’s Camino de Santiago trail. The glorious saga of Martin Sheen finishing the Northern Spain pilgrimage for his son is worth a watch. Depicting some of the most magnificent landscapes of Galician, the movie does have a lesson to impart – You are never too young for a big adventure. Do grab some tissues while watching this one. There is a beautiful lesson that you’ll carry with you, and that is, the relationships that we make while traveling are much more impactful than the actual sites that we see.
