The long-awaited Downton Abbey film is a continuation of the television series that ran on ITV from 2010 to 2015. The upstairs-downstairs-style story revolves around the Crawley family household.

The returning cast of the period drama created by Julian Fellowes and directed by Michael Engler includes Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Michelle Dockery, Elizabeth McGovern, Maggie Smith, and Penelope Wilton.

Where was Downton Abbey filmed?
1- Highclere Castle, North Hampshire - The exteriors and most of the interior filming of the fictional Downton Abbey estate took place in the Earl of Carnarvon's state, open to the public for visiting.
The Netflix series The Stranger was also shot in an invented town located in England, called Cedarfield.
The Bramshill House that served as a location in the Hanna series is also located nearby in Hampshire.
