Filming Locations Guide: Where was Point Blank filmed?

Point Blank is a 2019 action thriller filmed partially on wheels and featuring a remarkable soundtrack, a bit like 2017's Baby Driver.

The Netflix movie is a remake based on Fred Cavaye's 2010 French film of the same name. Paul is an emergency nurse forced to help a criminal to rescue his kidnapped pregnant wife.

The production stars Frank Grillo (Crossbones) and Anthony Mackie (Falcon/Captain America), both known for their roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.

Most action films like this one take place in New York, LA, or San Francisco (with notable exceptions like the mentioned movie Baby Driver), however, Point Blank was filmed and is proudly set in Cincinnati, The Queen City.

The house in the scene that opens the film is a 1900 Romanesque mansion in Cincinnati’s North Avondale neighborhood (961 Avondale Avenue).

The hospital was filmed in the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UC Health) facilities, located at the South Entrance of 3200 Burnet.

The car chase goes through several streets downtown, starting in a parking lot on Sixth Street.

The train station is actually the hall of the Dixie Terminal, a building completed in 1921, featuring a beautiful vaulted ceiling.

The Chuck’s Astro Wash scene was filmed in the Howdy Car Wash located at 4444 Reading Road.

The following scenes are filmed back to the Central Business District in downtown.

The Seven Hills Community Kitchen, where some hobos are queuing, is in the small Ira Alley, next to the Uptown Church between W 9th Street and W Court Street.

The gang's house is located very close to the manor at beginning of the film, at 976 Lenox Place.

The sequence in the police station was filmed in the Rothenberg Preparatory Academy on Main Street.
