The classic story of the Arthurian legends was revisited in 2017 from the particular point of view of director Guy Ritchie.
On this occasion, Arthur grew up in the back streets of the city. Unaware of his real background, he pulls out Excalibur and the adventure begins.

The cast contains some Hollywood celebrities, like Charlie Hunnam as King Arthur, Jude Law as Vortigern, Eric Bana as the father of Arthur, Aidan Gillen (aka Littlefinger from Game of Thrones) as Bill, or Djimon Hounsou as Bedivere.
King Arthur Legend of the Sword was filmed at various locations across England, Wales, and Scotland.
The film was shot in 2015, although it wasn't released until two years later. There are no spoilers ahead:

A large set of the castle was built at Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden. The long bridge (the one looking like an aqueduct), was constructed to film some action scenes.

It's amazing how detailed was the full-scale set of Londinium, inspired in the remains of a Roman pre-London.
The place where Arthur draws the sword from the stone was also recreated in the studios.

The production filmed this scene using fake stones in Windsor Great Park.

Some scenes were shot in the Forest of Dean (near Seven Sisters) and in King Arthur's Cave (The Doward) in Wye Valley.

Also, several locations for King Arthur can be found at the stunning Snowdonia National Park in North West Wales. Pictured, a shot behind the scenes with Tryfan mountain in the background.
The Watchmen filming locations from the HBO series were filmed very close from there, at Penrhyn Castle.

In Scotland, the movie was filmed at the Bealach na Ba pass on the Applecross, and at The Quiraing on the Isle of Skye.

The picture with Arthur in the river in a gorge is a place in Scotland called The Devil's Pulpit Finnich Glen
